ojko: このシリーズは非常にあらすじが分かりやすく、簡潔に書かれているので大人でも楽しめます。映画になっているタイトルもあるので、お勧めです。こうなったら全作品集めるつもりです。

ARABIN: たとえば、どんなに長く洗練された…感情を揺さぶられる文章を読んでも、私は涙するのをグッと堪えます。泣く自分にちょっと恥ずかしいからです。この絵本は読み終わるのに５分もかかりません。 …読み終わると自然と泣いていました。不思議なもので、ねこは死んだけれど幸せです。本来なら読者は、主人公であるねこが死んで悲しいはずなのに、「よかった」と泣けてくるのです。もうじき友人が1人目を出産するので、プレゼントしようかと考えています。自分以外の誰かを愛し、愛されることを知る素敵な絵本です。
